Instruments

In order to play an instrument "well" in game, one must get the tags required, such as "strings," and the three bard tags, "Minstral," "Troubadour" and "Maestro" from the approriate trainers.

To get the tags, one requires lore. There are many ways to train lore. One is playing an instrument, albeit poorly, the second is to draw magic circles with chalk, another is to listen to languages, and yet another is to appraise things in shops. You can train your lore with a trainer as well.
